Teaching with AI: Empowering Educators While Protecting Student Thinking is an engaging, hands-on professional learning experience focused on practical applications of AI in the K–12 classroom. The session, sponsored by Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Educational Strategy and Innovation (CESI), through the Stiles-Nicholson STEM Teacher Academy (SNSTA), is designed to help educators build confidence using AI while thoughtfully considering how these tools can strengthen instruction, differentiation, assessment, and student learning without replacing the thinking we want students to do themselves.
Attendees will earn 8 hours of professional learning units. The first 50 teachers to register and attend will each receive a free classroom integration kit serving up to 30 students.
