Bringing Learning to Life with Green Screen and AI (Parts 1 & 2)
Presented by Cara Pavek & Jenny O'Sullivan. The purpose of this workshop is to highlight easily replicable interdisciplinary classroom activities. These cross-curricular learning experiences encompass a variety of standards all while integrating the arts and technology. Our objective with these projects is to provide students with unique ways to respond to literature, science, and social studies content, and more through art with technology, dramatically enhancing their experience.

Interdisciplinary Artin the Classroom for Beginners (K-5)
Presented by Lindsey Wuest. This interactive workshop helps STEM teachers bring art into their classrooms with low- to no-mess strategies that fit seamlessly into busy schedules. By pairing proactive behavior management and smart classroom organization with low-cost, creative experiences, participants will discover how art integration can elevate inquiry, critical thinking, and evidence-based understanding within the project-based learning model.
South Florida Science through Art
Presented by Lindsey Wuest. Attendees will learn to integrate Florida-specific science topics into an art curriculum.
Attendees will discuss and reflect on the importance of place-based learning for our students in Florida and celebrate the unique natural and cultural landscape of Florida!
Additionally, attendees will consider the importance of fact-based detail in the assessment of student understanding.
Colorful Climates: Teaching Climate Change through Art
Presented by Lindsey Wuest. This workshop presents a transformative approach to teaching complex climate science concepts through the lens of art. This immersive session aims to empower STEM teachers with new tools to communicate the nuances of climate change effectively, making this global crisis more tangible and comprehensible for students.
Work in Progress: Developing an Arts-based Culture of Resilience in the K-5 Classroom
Presented by Lindsey Wuest and Jill Johnson. This workshop is an arts-based program for K-5 students designed to meet modern social and emotional learning needs through the creation of introspective artwork. Using the magic of elementary art, facilitate the building of a toolkit focusing on proactive strategies for whole child health.
