Teachers will learn how the structure of the math workshop model can help you to deliver meaningful, student-driven math instruction. You will learn the importance of keeping your focus lesson short, facilitating data driven small group instruction, and incorporating learning stations that foster meaningful mathematics and student choice and see how Wipebooks can foster a “Thinking Classroom” where students are in the mathematics driver’s seat! Engage in hands-on math centers that can be adapted to any math skill, for most elementary grade levels. You will get to watch videos of all of these practices in action. Wipebooks and math games will be raffled at the end for teachers to start immediate use in their classrooms!
