Making Student Thinking Visible

 

This hands-on workshop empowers educators to enhance student learning by making thinking visible in the science classroom. Participants will explore the intentional use of models as powerful tools to reveal and support students’ sensemaking processes. Through interactive activities and practical examples, educators will learn strategies to engage students in constructing and communicating their scientific understanding, fostering deeper comprehension and critical thinking skills. Attendees will leave equipped with instructional approaches and ready-to-use models that can be implemented immediately to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
