Monday, Oct 13, 2025
October 11,
educators explored digital imaging and 3D visualization to make biology come alive. Educators from across the region joined
Dr. Lauren Simonitis
for an inspiring professional learning experience — “Biological Imaging for Curriculum Enhancement.” From exploring free, publicly available imaging datasets to transforming digital visuals into hands-on 3D learning aids, participants discovered creative ways to make complex science concepts engaging and accessible for all students.
The day concluded with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Marcus Research & Innovation Center’s state-of-the-art laboratory at A.D. Henderson & FAU High School. Before heading back to their schools, each participant received a FREE classroom STEM kit to spark curiosity and creativity right away!
