This workshop is proudly offered through the Center for Educational Strategy & Innovation at Florida Atlantic Laboratory Schools, a hub for advancing research-driven educational practices.

The workshop Wildlife Wonders: Engaging K-12 Learners Through Interdisciplinary Conservation, Standards-Aligned Exploration, and Career Pathways at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter, FL, offers an immersive educational experience designed for K-12 educators and students. It integrates hands-on conservation activities with interdisciplinary lessons aligned to educational standards, fostering environmental literacy and stewardship. Participants engage directly with wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts, explore native species and habitats, and discover diverse career pathways in conservation and STEM fields. This program equips educators with practical resources to enhance classroom instruction while inspiring students to connect academic learning with real-world environmental challenges and opportunities.
